SEVERAL WORDS ABOUT KRYSTIAN

Krystian was born in Tarnów. Later, he accompanied his father in many clubs around Poland, in Cyprus and Greece. He broke into football via Olympiacos Piraeus, Polonia Warsaw, and Cagliari Calcio. He trained in the Barcelona school – Escola Varsovia. Playing in Italy, in the Primavera (then the equivalent of the Polish Young Ekstraklasa, now the Central Junior League), he was helped by Bartosz Salomon, a former Milan player and a former representative of Poland (currently a Lech Poznań player). In the youth national teams (U-15) he met Krystian Bielik, among others, Poland’s current representative, a player of English Derby County and another national team member Przemysław Płacheta, who’d just been promoted with the Norwich City team to the Premier League. In senior football he played for Wisła Płock (2016-2017), Olimpia Grudziądz (2017), Unia Tarnów (2017-18) and Stal Rzeszów (2018).

He was a creative player. Even then it was clear that he would feel best “on the ten”. There he would be able to showcase his full potential. He was an intelligent footballer. He searched for unconventional solutions. He saw a lot on the pitch. He caused a lot of problems for defenders. Popi had papers to play – said Panagiotis Retsos, defender of Bayer Leverkusen and the Greek national team, with whom Krystian had played for Olympiakos Piraeus at the beginning of his adventure with football.
